A few years ago I began working during summers at my friend’s restaurant in Star Lake, Wisconsin. He serves all his dinners on your tableware. I often complained that the plates got heavy by the end of the night. He said, in gentle words, that I should deal with it.

1966 we discovered the Heath Studio/Factory by chance. We purchased our first pieces, many still in use today. Rim and coupe mixed in moonstone. They have aged more gracefully than the family they have served.
